The abortion pill can only be taken within the first few weeks of pregnancy. Therefore it's important to receive an ultrasound to confirm how far along you are, verify if the pregnancy is viable and check the location to ensure the pregnancy is not ectopic and a miscarriage has not occurred.
Abortion pill side effects can include heavy bleeding, fever, headache, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and cramping. Contact a physician if your bleeding, contractions or pain persists.
